I have a 1996 Geo Prizm that makes noise when turning the wheel only when its fist started once its warmed up it stops. The belt is good and the fluid is full. It seems to have started once the temp outside got colder. Any assistance would be great! Thanks.

Check for leaks at pressure an return lines.

If OK, then remove PS belt, start engine, turn wheel (it will be stiff) if noise goes away, then most likely pump is going.

If you still hear noise, then steering component.
