1991 Geo Prizm dimming console

My problem is I seem to be loosing power the all my electronics (instrument cluster, radio, lights) while driving. As well having a hard time starting the engine (turning over). Once started the alternator is charging @ 14v and the battery is holding @ +/- 12v. Have not preformed a load test on the battery yet.

Take it to most autoparts stores and have the alt. And battery tested.

Also make sure the ground to the trans is clean and tight, there is also a ground on head on #1 cylinder intake side. Make sure it is tight.

Just to add a little thing to what mmprince said, have the alternator belt checked. It might be slipping.
