2000 Geo Metro Front Wheel Drive Manual 179000 miles

I have a 2000 Chevy Metro that sporadically stalls when I am driving and let off the gas to slow down. No error codes are showing up, I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, ECM under the hood, ignition coil, map sensor, spark plugs and spark plug wires, rotor and distributor cap, even the EGR valve. Compression is 170, 165, 172. Brought it to a local mechanic, they cant get it to stall in their shop to isolate the problem. Not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions? I really need this 42 mpg car to last another year or so before I can afford to get another vehicle. I would really appreciate the help.

I would check the crank position sensor or mabee the throttle position sensor if it seems to stall when the accelerator pedel is in the same position then its probably the throttle position sensor.
