1997 Geo Metro Exhust Manifold

I have a 1997 Geo Metro 5 sp 1.3L and my exhaust manifold needs replacing. I have looked and heard that the Suzuki Swift and the Pontiac Firefly are almost identical. Would these manifolds fit my existing Metro, and if I cannot find either one, is there another manifold that might fit? (Ie Geo Prism 1.6L)

I had to replace mine. Couldnt find it anywhere, but found one on car-part. Com for about $50 with shipping. It was in great condition. Talk to them on the phone before they ship it to check for cracks or broken bolts. You'll find lots of them through the site tho. The 3cylinders you can find new, but forget about finding the 4 cylinder (let me know if you find a new oem!).

You can also find a performance exhaust manifold on suzukird. Com under the 8valve suzuki swift (same one!). Its about $240 with the os2 opening and bolt on flange. Its got a couple pretty good reviews to. Also, be sure to replace the head bolts with new ones and replace gaskets. Be careful taking the bolts out because they can easily break off in the head and this becomes alot bigger problem.
