1993 Geo Metro Two Wheel Drive Manual 109000 miles

I asked a? About my timeing and you said to check the fuel presher and get back to you well is it possible that I got the timeing out of wack when I changed the water pump cause you have to take the tentshener off to change it could I have goten it out of wack some how? If so how would I find out?

Are you getting both fuel and spark? If so you could have messed-up the valve timing-put engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC then align the cam and crank sprockets then adjust the tensioner.
