Gear shift stuck

I am not able to get the gearshift knob out of park because the gearshift release button broke.

Good afternoon,

The top of the shifter comes off after removing a C clip. I attached a picture for you of the clip.

You will need to go to the dealer parts department and get a new button and rod.
