When driving above 80km per hour as soon as I turn the cruise control on gear shifts down to the 5th instead of remaining on 6th!
The car is a XC60 and Engine type is B4204T7 and gearbox is dual clutch MPS6 type. Please help.

Is there a reason you haven't taken it back to the dealer? It is under 100% warranty.

What I recommend is to take it back to them again and demand that they fix it. Yes, this is a difficult issue to solve, and nearly impossible from my point of view (not being there). If they can't rectify the problem, they need to replace the vehicle. My god, you only have a little over a thousand miles on it. Let me know what they tell you.

Thank you so much. Finally it's fixed! Dealer had to connect my car to Volvo and from Volvo they directly changed and tried different firmwares on transmutation ECU and in the end it's working properly! Interesting is that gearbox behavior is changed a lot, looks like the new software had several improvements.

I'm glad you got things taken care of. That isn't a cheap car and it would really upset me if I was in your shoes. Always remember, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." Sometimes you have to keep pushing.

Take care and let us know if you have questions in the future.
