Gear shift not shifting

HI Marykay!

Just a preliminary question or two here to help us figure out what you are experiencing.

First, when you say the stick is not moving, do you mean that the actual shift lever is stuck and you are prevented from physically moving it out of park?

Or:

Are you able to move the shift lever freely and nothing happens like the PRNDL doesn't show that you are changing gears and or the transmission does not come out of park?
