Hello,

Okay, a quick question for you, when was this vehicle originally purchased and what is the mileage? I ask this because there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB)/Special Coverage Adjustment for your vehicle dealing with fuel inlet check valve fracture. I have included the TSB in the diagrams below. You might want to get in touch with your local dealership and inquire about this. You might be able to get your fuel tank replaced for free. Please get back with us with what you are able to find out. If not we can still help you.

Thanks,
Alex

It is used. 110,000 miles when I bought it. Water was accidental added with gas from gas can sitting outside in rain. Now won't start. Tried gas treatment and dey gas. Nothing. Cranks but doesn't start.

Hello again,

Okay, it was worth a try. Take a look at the TSB, though. They are extending the coverage out to 15 years or 150,000 miles, so you might still be eligible to take advantage of it. If not though, you are probably going to have to drop and empty the fuel tank, then refill it with known good gas. The step by step factory instructions are included for you in the diagrams down below. Please be patient, they are quite lengthy. Please go through them and get back to us with how everything turns out, please.

Thanks,
Alex
