I’m trying to find out why the engine control fuse keeps blowing. It cranks but doesn’t start. I sprayed ether in the intake, and it will try to start so it’s a fuel issue too. I found a burnt o2 sensor wire on the upstream driver side. Could that cause the issue?

Yes, the oxygen sensor gets 12 volts for the internal heater so if the wires are melted this can cause the issue. Are you sure it is not fuse 32 that is blowing? This is the fuse to power the oxygen sensor. There is a fuse #22 but is it for the radio and door locks. I would replace the sensor/wiring. Check out the images (below). Let us know what you find.

So I guess it’s number 23 that’s blowing it the fuse box under the steering wheel I did more research it’s not what I thought it was. So, the truck cranks but doesn’t start. I have my scanner on it and it’s showing it has fuel pressure at the rail. I’m not sure where to go from there.

Please start a new thread for fuse #23 problem which does not have anything to do with the engine not starting. Let check to see if you have spark and injector trigger, here are two guides to go over to help:
