I have a 2011 Chevy Express with a Collins School Bus body, 6.6 Duramax engine. I am getting two codes that will not clear. PO187 and PO673. Which I believe can be fixed by replacing the glow plug #3 and the Fuel Temp Sensor. I have been unable to locate the Fuel temp sensor and glow plug #3 hits the frame before it unthreads far enough to remove. I'm stumped.

Hi,

There are actually two fuel pressure temperature sensors. The one that is relevant for code P0187 is sensor 2 (or B).

I attached the information below. The last pic is the best one I found showing the location of sensor 2.

As far as the injector, are you able to get enough clearance if you lift upward a bit on the engine with a floor jack?

Let me know. Also, let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe
