Fuel pump

On this new fuel pump I guess the filters are on the inside? As you see in picture the new assembly has two black round plugs covering two different nipples, am I supposed to remove these plugs? Sorry about picture but they are located at bottom of the assembly you can see one in picture.

Good morning,

There is an external filter as well. The one you see is the screen for the inside of the tank.

Yes, I installed and it works fine. She drove it rest of day until alternator went out, so now. Next. But thank you.
