Hi,

If I am reading the schematics correctly, the orange wire with a red tracer should be the power supply at the pump.

I attached the wiring schematic below and highlighted the relevant wiring. Take a look through them and let me know if you have questions.

As far as the no power, this truck has a totally integrated power module (TIPM). These are known to fail because of the number of small pins in each connector. The pins can corrode or break due to their size. So, you may want to check the TIPM to see if there is power available.

Also, the ASD relay is what allows power to the pump as well as the fuel injectors. To confirm it isn't a relay issue, with the key on, check any of the brown wires with a white tracer at the fuel injectors.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions,

Take care and have a good Thanksgiving.

Joe

See pics below. Note: I had to cut each pic in half to make them readable. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

Thank you for your response. What I would like to know is can I supply the red/orange with a separate power source? Will this allow the pump to operate? Thought about putting in cutoff switch so pump is not constantly running.
Thanks
