Wheres is the fuel pressure regulator and how to replace it?

Got a new fuel pressure regulator need picture of location on this truck. Never changed one before. Thanks

Hi,

The regulator is located on the fuel injector rail at top of the engine. I attached a pic below (pic 1) and highlighted where the vacuum hose will connect. You will be able to identify it because there will be a vacuum hose to it.

Before removing it, you need to depressurize the system. Otherwise, it will spray fuel out.

To get you started, follow the preservice procedure in pic 2. The remaining pics explain how to remove and replace the regulator. The last pic is the post-service procedure.
