Fuel gauge for the front tank quit working. Stays just above empty. Worked when I bought the truck last year. It started acting up every once in a while would go to empty now does not move. Has a utility bed with a thirty five foot bucket. Was an old bell telephone truck so probly just cab and chassie from Ford. Thanks

We do not have F450 only 350 but has to be similar as most are see picture and for which ever tank it is see if power is coming to it then ground that wire out and if fuel gauge goes up then it is the sender unit is bad. With tank empty resistance in fuel gauge should be 14-18 ohms and 154-162 ohms when full. It can also be a bad dash which can be rebuilt, but will have to be programmed to your truck.
