My wife accidentally bought the wrong bottle of Lucas oil and I added it to my engine oil while changing the oil before realizing it was actually fuel treatment. Is this going to cause problems?

Hello,

Possibly. If it were my vehicle I would drain the oil and put fresh oil in. The thin film of oil that lubricates the rotating parts of your engine's rotating assembly is the only thing that keeps it from blowing up. Anything that will take away from the oil's viscosity, should not be added to the oil. Please get back to us with what you decide to do.

Thanks,
Alex
