I changed front motor mount removed the bracket in the process, now there is a worse vibration than before. Mount is touching bracket on one side was wondering if it is supposed to and did I put bracket in wrong maybe upside down? There is an arrow on the side of bracket is this supposed to be pointing up or down?

I am fairly sure arrow should be pointing up, also back off all mounts and drive around the block to allow the engine to settle in to a better position. This can help also remember to tighten all bolts again. Let me know how this helps.

Okay, if the mount is touching the bracket on one side if the bracket is upside down could that be the reason it is touching?

Turn it around and see if it dose not touch anything. Can you send a picture? A visual will help.

Yes that is fine. I have no access to our data base just now due to a tech problem at the server. So tomorrow I hope to be able to look into things a bit closer.

Is the replacement mount exactly the same size? Is the transmission mount okay? The engine looks as if it has shifted side ways onto the mount bracket.

I would just start again, remove mount and make sure nothing looks out of place. I have access to the data base again. I will see if I can find anything relevant.

Okay, I do not have time right now to do it but will as soon as I can. Do you think the bolt going through mount would get bent from the engine shift like it appears it did? I hope not.

I doubt it, it is a fairly substantial attach point. My problem is that it is very hard to visualize this concern, it just looks as if the mount is incorrect, fitted wrong or the engine has shifted due to other mount problems.
