Window won’t roll down, so I replaced the regulator and motor 2 months ago. Did fine until last week now the window couldn’t roll up, just received my new master switch and now the motor goes up but does come down. Please help me.

Did the window go down with the old switch? If so, I would say have a defective switch. I would also check the ECU-IG1 7.5 amp in the fuse panel under the hood. All of the wiring to the window motor is supplied by the switch. Also, you may need to program the switch to have it work correctly.

Turn the Ignition to ON Position:

Ensure the vehicle is powered on but the engine doesn't need to run.
Fully Lower the Window:

Press and hold the window switch to roll the window all the way down.
Continue holding the switch for 2-5 seconds after the window is fully down.
Fully Raise the Window:

Pull and hold the window switch to roll the window all the way up.
Continue holding the switch for 2-5 seconds after the window is fully closed.
Repeat for All Windows Controlled by the Master Switch:

Perform the same procedure for each individual window.

Please check out the wiring diagrams below, also this guide can help you test the wiring between the switch and driver's side window motor. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

I did program all the other windows, and it works fine, the fuse is good. The old switch I just tested once more only goes up, same as new one. I tried a different motor and got the same results. I’m going to use my multimeter and do some resistance testing and also line tracing. Thank you for the diagram, btw, can you tell me what the pls1, pls2, VCC stand for? I only know basics.

These usually refer to Pulse Signal 1 and Pulse Signal 2.

VCC - Voltage Common Collector

I would do a continuity test on the wires, one of them must be broken which is common at the door jamb where the wires go through. Let me know and have a good weekend.

Do you have a pic of the window motor plug, also what colors can I jump to bring the regulator down? I saw a link with the diagram and continuity from a forum. It has the same motor harness but I'm not sure if this is the right one for my car. I can’t see the actual plug pic with the numbers. Please help me!

I would try unplugging the master switch and send ground down the black wire and power through the red wire. Let me know. Have a nice holiday! :)
