Front brakes locking up

We have recently replaced rotors and shoes in the front and the brakes in the back. We also replaced the axle on the driver side as well as the power steering pump. Late at night, my 16 year old son calls me freaking out because the car locked up on him while driving approximately 40 mile per hour. We towed it home and opened up the drivers side wheel. There was a missing bolt in the top of the caliper, which we replaced. Turned the car on and test drove it. Went well for a minute and then wheels locked up again. We put into reverse and were able to park the car. Help me please.

Check the caliper and the brake hose as they may be causing the lock up

I will be checking calipers and hoses today. Thank you. When I put the front of the car on jack stand, I found that the wheels turn but the car is in Park. Does this mean something else is wrong with my poor car? Thank you for advice. I really appreciate it. :)

The calipers are good and so are the hoses. I got some pins that were missing on one side of the front brake shoes. We put everything back together and now as the tires turn, there is a clink. Kinda like a bolt rolling around in there. My husband thinks its the cv joints. What do you think? I wish we could drive the car to see if I fixed the breaks. Any information would be so helpful. Again, I am so grateful for your help.

Nevermind, apparently the trans axle in the tranny is bad and has to be replaced.
