Is there a freeze plug above the starter behind it towards the front of the engine below the intake manifold?

That's where it's leaking water, but I had to take the starter off to find it and there's a hole there I don't know if it's a freeze plug or it's a screw in or just a tap in.

Hi,

I believe there is one above the starter motor. If you could take a few pics of the location, it may help me. Also, there are some in the cylinder head as well, so check there, too.

As far as replacement, I attached directions below. They are a tap-in from the factory which may make it nearly impossible to replace. If that is the case, check out a rubber expansion plug. Basically, you push the plug into the opening and then tighten a nut which expands the rubber. They work well as long as everything is clean and dry when installed.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

Sounds like a plan. Note that a freeze plug is normally approximately 1 1/2" in diameter. I'm not sure if knowing that helps you identify it.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

It looks to be about an inch but it's hard to tell from where it's at it looks like even it's already totally out, I'm not sure if that's the case easy so put it in might be fun I have to take the intake manifold off I think but here's an image of it. Use the edit icon to pin, add or delete clips.

Hi,

For some reason, the picture didn't upload. Is it possible for you to retry it?

Let me know.
