If it is between engine and trans pull trans to get to it.

Or if on side by firewall you may be able to reach being under it but it's not going to be easy

If the old one is not out and bad, punch a large screwdriver through it and pry it out. To install a new one use locktite around new plug then tap in either with a socket that will fit inside or a small hammer around edges.
