Check engin light came on I used OBD2 code scanner code 136 O2 sensor shot had it replaced two weeks ago check engin light back on code 136 back went back to shop mechanics says I should have changed both is this true?

You do not have two replace two
its beter if you do

Possible causes are :
Damaged wiring harness or Connector
crossed sensor wires
exhaust system leaks
faulty o2 sensor
good luck
