2001 Ford Windstar rough idle

I just did a tune up (just the plugs, wires, air filter and oil filter and changed the oil) and after driving the vehicle about 25 miles and shut it off for about five to ten minutes then restart the van it idles rough until you gin the engine once then it stops. What could be causing this because I think it may also have something to do with the engine light coming on too.
