Engine Performance problem
2000 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 67000 miles

The check engine light came on. I hooked up my OBD 2 up to it. It said it was lean on both bank 1 & bank 2. I'm assuming by bank it means both fuel injector rails? Van runs fine when I clear the code, but within 150 miles, (sometimes less) the check engine light comes back on again. Saying the same thing. Banks 1 & 2 are lean. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this problem? I have noticed that it's not getting the gas mileage it should be getting.

Also, the radio stays on when I shut the van off. I make sure all the electrical stuff is in the off position when I shut the van off, or over a couple of days the battery gets drained.

running lean "bank 1" is your O2 sensor

Which engine 3.0 or 3.8? Both has it on the right exhaust manifold
