If you're referring to the vehicle speed sensor (VSS), this is a tough one to get at in most Windstars.

The only way to access it is to jack the car up and go underneath. The transaxle has a portion which wraps around, goes towards the passenger side of the car. Look for the exhaust pipe running down from the firewall side of the engine. It'll combine in that general area with the down-exhaust-pipe from the front (radiator side) of the engine. OK, now that we have the general area, wedge your hand between the engine block and the transaxle where the downpipe of the firewall-side exhaust runs. I suppose you could say it is near the passenger-side output CV Joint shaft.

Problem is, in order to access it, you may need to loosen the firewall-side exhaust downpipe. I've had moderate success removing the passenger front tire and squeezing my hand thru the small opening. If I remember correctly, if you go in thru the side, it's easier access when the motor mount is removed.

There's a 10-mm bolt securing it in place.
It's a real tough one, but with flexible hands and a little patience, you can get to it.
