1996 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my 96 windstar has a coolant leak you smell coolant and the coolant is thick and creamy the oil seems fine she does not overheat and still blows lots of hot air through the heater and seems to run fine what could this be

I think your seeing the first sign's of the headgasket blown. Have the cylinders compression tested.

It has been like this for about 1 and a half months wouldn't I be having problems by now

I would think it would have gotten worse. But i'm never surprised with gasket leaks ! Is the coolant thick light browny gloop. This is a sign of oil getting into the coolant. Most good autoparts stores hire tools out. Try the compression test and let me know?
