I ask a question about the location of the pcv valve on my 2004 ford ranger with a 3.0 v6 engine. I got a response from some one telling me how to change the pcv valve. I did not ask how to change it. I already know that. I ask were is it located. It is not on either of the valve covers. The book I have says its on the cam cover. Is the cam cover on top of the egine between the vavle covers? Is the valve toward the front of the engine or is it further back.

I appriciate your effort and time in finding the answer to my question. In my original question I did say it was a ford ranger. How you got the message only saying ford truck. I do not know. Thank you again for your help. I have put your web site in my favorites list. You can be sure if I have any more car/truck repair questions. I will be back. Thank you again. Have a merry christmas and happy new year.
