I have a 2002 Ford F-350 7.3. I started the truck one morring and everything was fine. 5 minutes later it started running choppy & the check engine light was on. It lost power plus you floor it in neutral and it wouldn't get over 2100 rpms. Had the codes down loaded. They are ( p1670 / p1316 / p1212 / p1247 / p1248 ). I have changed the IDM, ICP, fuel presure regulator. The oil level is fine & now it won't even start up. If you can help thanks

P1670 indicates that a communication error has between the PCM and the IDM.
Possible causes:
Open fuse
IDM relay
Open or shorted IDM enable circuit
Open/short in EF circuit
Open/short in FDCS circuit
IDM powering circuits
PCM

first step in that one is to check fuse #27 under the hood to make sure it is good before checkign the others.

P1316 is a issue with the injector control from IDM. Common problem is a wiring harness under each valve cover loosens up and disconnects OR the harness goes bad. Check under both passanger and driver headgasket. And check the wires for damage. And make sure the connectors are tight. If they loose check for a clip kit. Also check to make sure the injector connectors are on secure and the harness for the injectors are good too

injector(s) or circuit(s)

Open or shorted IDM enable circuit

Open/short in EF circuit

Open/short in FDCS circuit

IDM relay

IDM powering circuits

BY THE WAY. DO YOU HAVE A CHIPSET IN THE VEHICLE THATS MODIFIED OR AFTERMARKET?

P1212 indicates ICP voltage not at expected level. Check harness for that and voltage to it.

P1248 and p1247 : MAP - Turbo boost pressure low - MAP hose, sensor, EBP sys, intake leaks, turbo
damaged MAP hose
low turbo boost
intake manifold or crossover tube hose leaks
damaged MAP sensor
damaged PCM
Inspect MAP sensor hose and manifolds for damage, leaks, restriction and misrouting.

Check all of the BOOTS in the turbo system. See if you can manually actuate the rod in the rear end of it. If not it maybe be carboned up. Check teh exhaust pressure feedback valve and see if thats bad.

All in all this code can be tied back to the harness under the valve cover as mentioned earlier.
