My 2001 ford f150 supercrew leas through the rear window. I have been to a glass place and they say it's a ford problem. My dad is a ford parts manager and located the gasket, obselete I might add. Who would repair it and how. The rear trim around the window sits about a 1/4 inch off the cab. Does the inside of the truck have to come apart to get this out or do you just cut the window and remove

If the truck is not on warrentee then you would have to get it replaced. A friend and I replaced a back wind once. It came out from outside the vehicle. We had to get the inner lip of the gasket over the lip. Then worked it around until we had the gasket completely off the lip. When we installed it with a new gasket we used nylon string and wrapped it around the gasket lip. While one of us held the window in place we pulled the lip of the gasket over the lip of the frame. Pulling on the string from inside the vehicle the rubber lip slid over the frame lip.
