Engine Performance problem
1988 Ford Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1988 f250 with a 460 in it. Quit running on me yesterday coming home from work. Noticed that the electric fuel pump wasn't turning on when I tried to start it so replaced pump. Still wont start, will turn over but wont run. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Need to figure out if its not getting gas, or no spark. check like this and get back to us.
Start with the basics, and work your way up, Last tune up was? Wires plugs ALL filters? If all that is ok, check for a stuck EGR, then test fuel pump pressure, If it won't restart, determine what's missing, the engine needs three things to run, Spark at all plugs, gas to all cylinders, and compression in all cylinders, tho an engine may run lacking one in one cylinder, it won't run very well!

Good place to start is replacing the filter. Is it a forceful flow before the filter? Or weak?
