Rotate crankshaft, and position cylinder No. 1 at TDC of compression stroke.
Remove front cover .
Ensure timing marks are aligned.
Remove camshaft sprocket retaining bolt and fuel pump eccentric (if equipped). Slide camshaft sprocket, crankshaft sprocket and timing chain off as an assembly
Place timing chain around camshaft and crankshaft sprockets. Align timing marks, and slide assembly into position.
Install fuel pump eccentric (if equipped) and camshaft sprocket retaining bolt. Tighten bolt to specification . Lubricate timing chain and gears with engine oil. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
