1992 Ford Thunderbird shutting down

Okay I bought this for 1500, few overheating problems changed thermostat, car sarting to buck and have no power then started to shut down every once in awhile, once it shut down didnt start til next day and was ticking then that went away so I changed fuel pump and filter now it still bucks and shuts off when engine is under a small load. HELP ME PLEASEEEEE! Several mechanics have no clue if any of you know it would really help and prove alot thanks

Never minddd the plug that plugs into the coil or what ever that is, the clip on the plug was broke so it was not securely fastened plugged that in and the car ran wonderfully
