1986 Ford Thunderbird Locking Rear End

My 1986 Ford Thunderbird has the one wheel peel drive. I know that with a 9" Ford rear end you can turn it into a locking rear end with a single bolt. Can this be done with the Ford 8" or 8.8" rear ends?

Most all american manufacturers offered both posi units and non posi in almost all of their axles. It's just a matter of finding the parts to do it. The actual carrier that contains the posi unit has to matched to the gear ratio you are using.
