1986 Ford Thunderbird Automatic 111999 miles

i have this ford thunderbird and im wondering how can I get the code to unlock my vehicle. So far I know that pressing 7/8 and9/0 simultaniously will lock the car, but how do I get the proper codes to unlock the car. If I cant get it is there a way for me to reprogram the buttons to a code of my liking so that I can get access to my car without the keys. Im known to lock myself out of my car allot.

Look in the trunk, the code is on one of the hinges.

There would have been a sticker on the passenger side hinge. Try removing the right passenger kickpanel, there is a box under it, and it will also have the code on it.

I removed the pannels on both sides and checked and there was no fuse box but there was a sticker with the numbers 339 but im not shure if thats the right numbers because it was not working. How many digits exactly am I looking for? And where else can I find the actual fuse box knowing that my car has 2 door and power everything. A fuse box that big cant be that hard to find. Is it possible to upload some pictures of what im looking for and where the codes would usually be located.

You are looking for a box, not a fuse box with a sticker with 5 digits. Look in the trunk under the rear window, there should be a module there, it should have the numbers on it.

Then it's possible the sticker either fell off or was removed, Ford can get the code with your VIN.
