1993 Ford Tempo water temp switch

Can you tell me where the water temp switch is located?I have a pic from a ford parts fax it showed it by the coil? Its not there I removed the coil assembly.I looked by the radiator hoses on both sides I cant find it.I do not have a lift and iam trying to fix this for my daughter before she leaves for school later today. Any help would be appreciated

The Temperature Switch is located:
Under hood, driver side, rear engine area, below valve cover, mounted in cylinder head

If thats what your looking for, should be close to the thermostat housing, should only have one wire going to it. Found mine there, had to take the housing out of the way, good thing too, the failsafe thermostat was stuck open, it really worked, failsafe. Worth the little extra money when living in the desert

Some confusion here as to which sensor? The fan switch or the temp gauge. Temp gauge is under therostat hosing with single wire.

Thats where I found it, just a small single wire sending unit, as your looking at the motor from the drivers side, leaning on the fender, just below and to your left of the thermostat housing, had to remove the air filter housing and the thermo housing.
