You can get a loaner tool from most autoparts stores. It threads into crankshaft threads, put a thrust bearing next to balancer and drive the balancer in.

While some people put balancer on, then use balance bolt on and tighten it to drive balancer on, you CAN strip the threads on the crankshaft using this method. This is not a good thing.
