Vibration after a Top Hat installation.

2005 Ford Taurus SES-37500 miles-3.0I had a leak in the passenger cabin. Ford fixed it( 80%) with me paying 20% of the cost. When I went to turn on ac the AC was vibrating against something so I can not use it. There was not a problem with ac till this Top hat situation occurred. What is making my ac or what is it running up against? I paid 72.20 for this Top hat, I called & took the car back to the Ford place who did the work & they said they never heard that vibration before & the new Top hat didn't have nothing to do with it. They want more money. What a crock! Thank you.

I have a 03 Taurus which leaked water onto the passenger floor board also causing my AC Blower motor to short out. Ford paid 80% to fix it. When I turn on the AC it vibrates. Its like the compressor is hitting up against something. I turn off the ac & its all quiet. Ty

Top hat is what they didn't put on alot of tauras/sables to keep the water from leaking into the cars on the passenger side of car, floorboard. It made the blower shorten out. The AC vibrates from low to high. The speed didn't do anything, still vibrates. The only time I don't get the vibs is when the ac & or vent totaly turned off. Ty
