I have a 98 Ford Taurus SE, 3.0, 104,000K. I am leaking anitfreeze and I was told it was due to a leak in the Timing Chain Cover and they need to replace it. I was wondering if anyone knew how much the average cost of repair is for this sort of thing.

I would guess anywhere from $700 to $1000, depending on the labor rate and engine type.
For instance, if you have DOHC, it may cost more.
