Starting problems

My 1993 ford taurus wagon-110000 miles-will intermittently not start./The problem is fuel not ignition. When it wont't start you leave it sit for a hour or day then it will start/i have had fuel filter replace & fuel line cleaned. When it wont start it will crank but not turn over/when it starts it will start within one crank

Wouldn't be so quick to rule out the spark. Try cheapest things first. Start with plugs, then plug wires, crankshaft position sensor, coil pack, ignition control module, then your computer.
