1997 Ford Taurus 171,500miles

Gasoline is leaking near the engine. I replaced clamps on the hose, but it feels as if there is pressure building up inside. Could this be the fuel filter?

I'm not clear on your question (or motor size). There is definitly pressure on the fuel system.

The filter is under the car along the frame rail if I remember right.

Are you having trouble locating the leak?
