Hi, I have a 97' ford taurus lx twin overhead cam. My problem is, my alternator isn't charging. I have removed the alternator and had it tested at an alternator shop, it tested at 14 volts and was good. I have replaced the battery and the serpentine belt. I've checked the plug and the wires that go to the voltage regulator, and all of the fuses and relays. And now I'm stuck, PLEASE HELP!

If you have an external voltage regulator, than that's the potential problem. Other than that I would check power to the alternator from the battery, power out of the alternator when running, and if you have an external voltage regulator, power out of the regulator. If you don't have an external regulator, then make sure you have power coming out of the laternator while running. If you do, then you probably have a faulty wire from alternator to Battery. Good Luck.
