2007 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 111000 miles
My 2007 Taurus battery will not take a charge. In fact, the charger starts to charge then after a time says " bad". I assume that means the battery is needing replacing.
If I can get it started, does it hurt anything to drive it to dealer to get battery replaced.

No it won't hurt. I would suggest going to your local parts store instead. Have them test the battery first. Some will put it in for free, plus you will save money. If battery is bad, after replacing have them test the charging and starting systems.
