Car drove fine with no sounds at all. Went upt he street, check engine light came on and rpm's rev'd and car would not pick up speed past 25 mph.

Drive and reverse seem fine, no noises, fluid level is fine and not discolored. Only when trying to go above 25 mph is there any problem and the transmission will not shift gears.

Local shop got the error codes 732 and 733 and said they ran all the diagnostics they could think of and found nothing and think they will have to pull the transmission in order to fix the problem.

Is there anything else that could be the problem that would not involve pulling the transmission and rebuilding it?

P0732 SSA, SSB or internal parts2nd gear failure.Incorrect gear ratio while commanding 2nd gear.Incorrect gear selection depending on condition mode and manual lever position: . Shift errors may also be due to other internal transaxle concerns (such as stuck valves, damaged friction material)

if all test were done next step would be taking tranny apart
