This started awhile back. I can not find anyone that can tell us how to fix the problem. My wife's car. After driving it stop and starting, whe you go to crank it. It cranks fine then dies unless you hold your foot on the gas pedal. Remove your foot and it dies. What I have been doing to fix the the problem is. Discconect both battery cables, wait a few minutes and it runs ok. Now its getting more frequent and I am having to wait longer with the cables off to get it to start. Everyone says the computer but no one knows what. No error codes at all. Any help would be appreciated

I would try an Idle Air Control Valve. It adjusts the idle by letting air into the engine, if it gets sticky it can let too much or too little air in causing a stalling problem, they dont always set codes
