I have a 2003 taurus that is jerking with high rpm's. It doesn't matter if the car is in drive or if it is parked. I have spoken to several people and get different answers. I THINK I have it narrowed down to the IAC or the MAP sensor. Am I on the right track?

IAC wouldnt affect the vehicle on high speeds. But the MAP, EGR, MAF sensor all will. Clean them all, also check for vaccum leaks by using carb cleaner sprayed on all hoses and aroudn intake manifold when vehicle is running. If idle is changed you have found a leak.
