2003 Ford Taurus Headlight bulb repair

I am trying to replace the standard headligh bulbs in my car with some after factory ones that I purchased. I am slightly confused as to how I get the old ones out and the new ones in. Is there a simple procedure to do this, or is this a task for a more mechanicallly inclined soul?

Look closely, there are differnet size timers so that it only goes in one way.
