2002 Ford Taurus random missfire

I purchased a used Ford after I was stuck from behind in a car crash. The Ford ran good for several months then it started this problem. Random miss fire, what is the remedy? Can this be fixed with out costing an arm and leg?

Check it for tune up
Check ignition coil

Already tuned up changed plugs and wires, also new battery will try ignition coil next. Thank you

Check if coil firing all cylinders
check fuel pressure

OK I have tried tuneup, plugs and wires, new battery, ignition coil in this order. Still have problem with the missfire, I am driving the car so I need to know if it can be fixed or WHAT.I am at my wits end, this is the first Ford I have ever owned thinkin maybe I will return to Chevy!
