2000 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120.00 miles

transaxle light comes on at speeds of 80 to 85. Steam comes up from bottom of car, fluid on ground. Check transfluid its ok. After about five minutes, start it up. Its fine. Kept below 80 seems to be fine. Whats going on?

Sounds liek it is foaming the fluid and blowing it out hte vent. Could be from overheating. Is the fluid level correct. Might want to have the PCM scanned for any codes pertaining to the trans
