Noises problem
2000 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

There is an intermittentnoise coming from the rear of my car when you have a heavy passenger in the rear seat. No leak that I can see and when you do the bounce test, it moves very little. Thanks for all your help

It sounds like a air shock trying to inflate. I had a caddillac that had load leveling and it would make a noise similar to this. But this does not have load leveling on it. Thanks for your time and reply

If it sags a bit, have the rear springs inspected, Taurus and Sable are known for the springs breaking and sometimes puncturing the tire.

Thanks everyone. I found the problem. It was the bushing in the sway bar that was worn. This was causing th weight to shift when the back seat was loaded with passengers
