I am wanting to buy a 99 Taurus. And the guy is telling me that it needs valves for 2 cylinders and that it will only cost 150.00 in repairs. Do you know what the problem is or what he is refering to? He says that all the other cylinders still work and that the car still runs.

Valve job for $150 !
In order to replace the valve cylinder head must be removed
and $150 will not be enough to buy the parts never the less pay for labor
should have it inspected by local shop before buying

Oh ok. Thanks, So if the car still runs. What would be the problems with it without those 2 valves? Or should I expect it to break down days after if I purchase it?
